This seminar is directed to hazardous waste generators, environmental managers, TSD facility operators, environmental consultants, compliance specialists, environmental attorneys, and regulators who to want keep up with RCRA waste issues. Section of the Air & Waste Management Association is pleased to
once again offer the Midwest’s most comprehensive annual program on air
quality management issues. The LMSS’s Air Quality Management conference
has become a tradition in the region - bringing together environmental
professionals from industry, government, environmental services and the
legal community to learn about the hottest issues and most important
developments in this rapidly evolving field. Is your company prepared
for consequences of the proposed changes to the NAAQs? Do the
revisions to the MACT standards (Boiler, Utility, Refinery, CISWI)

responsible for air, water and waste compliance including environmental
project oversight, reporting, recording keeping, environmental
consultant/contractor oversight, mentor/manage environmental
technician. Will work in concert with plant management and
corporate environmental leadership; daily interaction with operations
and maintenance groups to ensure acceptable performance around
environmental issues. Candidates must have a 4-year or advanced degree
in Environmental Science, Engineering or related field. This
will also require similar experience from plant operations requiring
respirator fit testing, fall protection, Title V permitting.
Qualified candidates will have working knowledge of air, water and
waste/RCRA regulations and ability to train plant personnel on
environmental topics. Prefer 5+ years experience and strong
technical writing skills.

Clean Air Act Permitting Program Workshop Indianapolis - October 5 and 6, 2011 Everything you know about Clean Air Act permitting is about to change. Revisions are coming to NAAQS, NSR, PM2.5, and Ozone regulations. New Greenhouse Gas Tailoring rules are about to kick in. Pretty soon, you’ll be needing a lot of new information. The Air & Waste Management Association has you covered with a series of new workshops focused on what you need to know, not just about new regs, but about the local and regional impacts of the changes. Workshops will be led by nationally renowned air quality policy experts and will include local regulatory experts. The tentative conference agenda has been released and is available here.
