Andy Perdue

Mr. Perdue currently serves as a Project Director with Weaver Consultants Group and has over 24 years of environmental consulting experience. Mr. Perdue has successfully completed projects for clients in a wide variety of development, industrial, and manufacturing based industries on a local, national, and international level. His project work includes state and federal air permitting (PSD and NSR), emission inventories, on-going compliance reporting and annual certifications, stack testing support, state and USEPA regulatory agency negotiations, enforcement matters, multi-phase environmental site assessments and multi-media compliance audits, BWON and Benzene HON sampling and reporting, LDAR, NPDES permitting, the preparation and implementation of SWPPP and SPCC Plans, FRPs, RMPs, Tier I/II reporting, CEPP plans, Form R, solid waste management and permitting, Phase I/II ESAs, UST closures, and risk based closures.

Francis X. Lyons is a Partner in the Environmental Group of Schiff Hardin LLP, where he provides strategic counseling in environmental law matters, with a focus on regulatory compliance under state and federal laws. He draws on past experience as a Regional Administrator for the U. S. EPA and as an environmental enforcement attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice to assist clients in these matters.
Deb Jacobson - associate director, technical assistance program, Prairie Research Institute

Deb Jacobson, CSP

Ms. Jacobson, Associate Director, Technical Assistance Program at the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC) a unit of the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois. She leads a team of environmental professionals to provide technical, environmental and safety compliance assistance to businesses and local government units. Ms. Jacobson works closely with federal, state and local government agencies and industry trade groups on environmental matters affecting industry. Ms. Jacobson is an ISO 14001-2015 Lead Auditor, a Certified Sustainability Professional. In addition to her work within Illinois, she is an auditor for the Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP) and a WI Green Tier Auditor.
Kathy Doyle, Managing Director at Relief EHS, LLC, is an environmental, safety, and hazmat consultant leveraging over 20 years as an in-house EHS professional with Clean Harbors and Waste Management. With expertise in regulatory compliance & reporting, auditing, project management, ISO 14001, and hazardous waste operations, she supports clients in implementing environmental and safety compliance processes and training that result in enhanced EHS performance. Ms. Doyle has a B.S. Industrial and Operations Engineering from The University of Michigan.

Sarah Langeliers

Sarah has been active in the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) for nearly a decade, starting with the Nevada section in 2009 and continuing with the Lake Michigan States Section upon relocation in 2017. During this time she has assisted with conferences, environmental luncheons, and networking events through session moderation, event write-ups, and attendee recruit. Sarah has 11 years of experience as an environmental professional, primarily in air quality consulting. As membership director, Sarah hopes to support the organization’s efforts to maintain existing members while developing strategies to expand the membership base.

Christina Landgraf serves as Counsel – Health, Safety, Security and Environment at BP America Inc. , where she provides strategic counseling in environmental, health and safety legal matters for the company. She draws on past in-house legal experience with United Airlines, and on her years of experience as outside environmental counsel at several law firms in Chicago, including Jenner & Block LLP and Barnes & Thornburg LLP.

Kenneth Anspach

Kenneth Anspach is a solo practitioner attorney in Chicago, Illinois where he concentrates in environmental law, insurance coverage on behalf of policyholders, and commercial litigation. He co-chairs the Environmental Group of the Union League Club of Chicago, which hosts breakfast meetings with the Air & Waste Management Association, Lake Michigan States Section, featuring noted speakers on environmental topics. He is Chair of the Environmental Law Section Council of the Illinois State Bar Association. He is Co-Chair of the Insurance Subcommittee of the Environmental Litigation Committee of the Section on Litigation of the American Bar Association and Co-Chair of the Environmental Subcommittee of the Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee of the Section on Litigation of the American Bar Association. He has been a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois. He is past Chair of the Civil Practice Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. He is the author of numerous articles on the subject of environmental law and insurance coverage, and the treatise, Environmental Law and Insurance Handbook, published by West Group in 1997.
Andrew has 14 years of experience in the environmental field. His training includes environmental engineering, as well as environmental law and regulation. His areas of knowledge include the following: site investigation and remediation, risk assessment, transaction advisory, regulatory compliance, and project oversight and management. Andrew brings a multi-disciplinary approach to his projects, providing high level analysis of engineering and regulatory compliance risks.
Larry Falbe is a Chicago environmental attorney who focuses on environmental transactional support of real estate and corporate deals, environmental defense and litigation, Brownfields issues, environmental regulatory compliance and energy development/facility siting. He also has substantial litigation and regulatory experience involving environmental issues, including CERCLA (Superfund), FIFRA, EPCRA, RCRA (hazardous waste), toxic torts, Clean Water and Clean Air Acts, underground storage tanks, and nuclear fuel processing. He has represented clients involved in enforcement actions by federal, state, and local authorities, and negotiated numerous compliance programs, consent decrees, and settlements

Grace Falco

Grace Falco, is Manager of Electronic Systems - Environmental Affairs at United Airlines providing support and oversees the Compliance Tracking System, Environmental Enterprise System, in addition to other technology platforms. Grace started attending A&WMA Lake Michigan States Section events in 2013 and is full of gratitude for the support, knowledge, expertise and opportunities the association has given to her. Grace participated as a Young Professional Panelist at the 2017 A&WMA Air Quality Management Conference, partakes in the A&WMA-LMSS Mentorship program since 2017, Member of the YP Committee, and joined United Airlines in August of 2018. She draws past experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist at Dynamic Manufacturing, Inc., a Chicago-based automotive remanufacturing company for 4 years, where she developed a database to assess-analyze waste generation, profitability, compliance and activity. Grace developed an interest in EHS after starting her career in research at the Morton Arboretum, a nonprofit organization with a $63 million investment in the future of tree health. Her experience in research, remanufacturing and aviation inspires her to share her continually-growing environmental knowledge with friends, family and colleagues.

David Ozawa

David Ozawa is Director, Project Development, began his career in air emissions testing and consulting with Mostardi-Platt Associates, Inc. in 1978, where he helped establish the air pollution testing and consulting division. Mr. Ozawa has worked with the power, chemical, steel, refinery, food processing, printing, and other industries in order to design and plan test methods and programs. Among his other duties, he designs, plans and negotiates air emissions source testing programs, and develops test proposals and test protocols. Mr. Ozawa is a member of the Air and Waste Management Association and the Source Evaluation Society.

Daniel Robertson

Daniel Robertson currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General in the Environmental Bureau of the Office of the Illinois Attorney General, where he litigates Illinois environmental statutes and regulations in civil actions on behalf of various state agencies. Prior to his time as an AAG, Daniel was an Attorney Advisor at the Illinois Pollution Control Board. During his time at the Board, Daniel advised on a number of environmental regulatory and adjudicatory matters, which helped him develop a broad knowledge of air, water, land, and waste regulations. Daniel has been involved with A&WMA-LMSS for a number of years and is excited to continue to help it grow, having recently been selected to the Young Professionals Committee. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two daughters.
Mr. Sawicki has over 30 years of environmental consulting industry. He holds a Master’s of Science degree in Geology from the University of Akron located in Akron, Ohio and a Bachelor of the Arts Petroleum Geology from Mercyhurst University located in Erie Pennsylvania. He is a Licensed Professional Geologist in Illinois and Indiana and a Certified Professional Geologist through the AIPG. He currently serves as the Director of Environmental Engineering for Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc., a professional engineering and construction management firm headquartered in Chicago. His expertise includes contamination assessment and remediation, environmental liability evaluation during site redevelopment, CBRNE emergency response management, and waste management, but is well-versed in many aspects of the environmental consulting industry. Throughout his career he has worked in active and former refineries, steel mills, chemical plants, forging, stamping plants and auto manufacturing facilities. Mr. Sawicki has had the opportunity to work for a variety of clientele throughout his career, including governmental agencies, public utilities, Fortune 500 companies, Real Estate Investment Trusts, developers and lenders. He has worked throughout the Midwest, southeast and eastern parts of the United States. Some of his more exciting work was during his time working as a technical consultant to the US EPA where he supported the Region V, Superfund Division, Emergency Response Branch providing training, assessment and remediation support during emergencies, time critical removal actions, community outreach and technical training. He lives in Naperville with his wife of 23 years and son, who is in his junior year at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.
Ann Zwick is a senior environmental attorney with Freeborn & Peters in Chicago. In her law practice, Ann counsels clients on all aspects of environmental law, including in compliance matters, permitting, site remediation, litigation, enforcement actions and appeals. Ann has a comprehensive background and in-depth knowledge in regulatory law, including the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, RCRA and CERCLA (Superfund), with a focus on the solid waste and scrap metal industries and air regulatory matters.
